International Horses
As Australia is geographically isolated from the rest of the world, international horses must travel long distances and settle into the Australian climate on top of trying to win our biggest race. Some have done well and won but others with big reputations have come and failed. It's difficult to compare the form of overseas races with our own races here so it may pay to stick with local horses.

Since 1998, six horses from overseas have won the Caulfield Cup, Mer De Glace in 2019, Best Solution in 2018, Admire Rakti in 2014, Dunaden in 2012, All The Good in 2008, Ethereal in 2001 and Taufan’s Melody in 1998.
Gender
Note: since 1996 only five mares have won the Caulfield Cup (Verry Elleegant, Jameka, Southern Speed, Ethereal & Arctic Scent).
Age
Four-year-olds have the best record in the race, winning 49 of the 142 editions, with five-year-olds successful on 44 occasions. Only eight of those 5YO successes have come in the past 36 years, with 4YOs victorious 17 times.

Ultimate Review
The Tattsbet bookmaker has been around for a while, but information is hard to come by. The website is fairly easy to navigate for lottery/sports and racing punting options, but there is nothing overly extravagant about the interface.
The interface does what it has to do. I did not find easy access to any sign up bonuses or incentives that blew me away.
There are plenty of deposit and withdrawal options. They do have a mobile app and some of the features are worth looking into. There is money to be won at Tattsbet if the punter is up for the challenge.
